KELSO, Wash. — A man is dead after a shooting in Kelso early Friday morning, the Kelso Police Department reported.
After police received a report that a man had been shot, officers responded to the area of South 6th Avenue and Elm Street at 1:54 a.m. and found a man who'd been shot in the upper body.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he died. He was 58 years old.
Police are waiting until family is notified before they identify the victim.
No arrests have been made and no suspect information was reported. Police said the investigation is active and they won't be releasing any other details at this time.
