PORTLAND, Ore. — A man is dead after a stabbing early Sunday morning in the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said.
Officers responded around 1:23 a.m. to a stabbing in the on Southeast 122nd Avenue.
PPB found a victim in the parking lot of the Safeway grocery store at the corner of Southeast 122nd Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard.
First responders determined the man was deceased at the scene.
The suspect or suspects had left the scene before police were called and no immediate arrests have been made, according to PPB.
PPB have not releasing any information regarding the victim at this time.
Detectives with the Portland Police Homicide Unit are investigating. No streets were closed for any significant amount of time, police said.
