CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. — A Portland man has been charged in connection to a homicide investigation of a woman who was found dead inside a burned home, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).

Detectives served an arrest warrant Wednesday on 31-year-old Bobby Lee Grady Alsup III of Portland. The 31-year-old suspect had been in the Washington County Jail since March 23 on unrelated charges, CCSO said.

On March 21, deputies had responded to a fire around 1:30 a.m. on Southeast Flavel Drive in an unincorporated part of Clackamas County. While firefighters were extinguishing the fire, they found 31-year-old Kaley Ann Snow dead in the house. The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office later ruled Snow's death a homicide.

CCSO said that Snow and Alsup "were known to each other."

Alsup has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault, first- and second-degree arson, first- and second-degree abuse of a corpse, first-degree theft and tampering with evidence, according to CCSO.
