TIGARD, Ore. — A man accused of stabbing another person multiple times at the Tigard Transit Center was arrested in Sherwood on Sunday, July 7.

The suspect, 22-year-old Diego Armando Gonzalez-Hernandez, was taken to the Washington County Jail. He faces multiple charges, including first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, harassment and interfering with making a report. Gonzalez-Hernandez also has an outstanding arrest warrant.
According to the Tigard Police Department, two men, including Gonzalez-Hernandez, were fighting at the Tigard Transit Center on Southwest Commercial Street when Gonzalez-Hernandez pulled a knife out and stabbed the other man several times. Police said Gonzalez-Hernandez boarded a bus to Sherwood after the stabbing. He was arrested in Sherwood.
Officials said the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive. Police said they're not identifying the victim at this time.
