Man arrested for driving into home while under the influence in Vancouver

An adult and baby were in the home at the time of the crash. No one was injured, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

VANCOUVER, Wash. — A man has been arrested in Vancouver after driving into a home while under the influence, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office. 

On Wednesday around 1:08 p.m., deputies responded to a single-car crash into a home located at 6300 Northeast 4th Avenue in Vancouver. When deputies arrived, they found a full-sized pickup truck that left Northeast 63rd Street and hit the corner of the home, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office. 

The sheriff's office said that an adult and a baby were home at the time of the crash but had no injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was identified as Luis Antonio Santiago Vasquez. The 32-year-old was arrested for driving under the influence, reckless driving and driving while suspended.
