GRESHAM, Ore. — One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning, according to Gresham police.
Officers were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. to the deadly crash near Northeast Burnside Road and North Main Avenue, after receiving reports that a person had been struck by at least two vehicles. When officers and emergency responders arrived, the person was found dead in the road, Gresham police said.
No vehicles remained at the scene of the crash, police said. Officers have not yet released the name of the person who died or provided any information about the suspects or their vehicles.
During the investigation, police closed the intersection of Northeast Burnside Road and Main Avenue.
