HILLSBORO, Ore. — A Hillsboro man who worked as a babysitter was arrested in December on allegations that he sexually abused multiple children. Police believe that there may be other victims who have not yet been located.
Brian Henning, 33, was arrested on Dec. 13 and later indicted on two counts of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, nine counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of attempted first-degree sexual abuse, one count of using a child in a display of sexual content, and four counts of luring a minor as a sex crime.
According to the Hillsboro Police Department, Henning was babysitting in his apartment in the Quatama neighborhood of Hillsboro. He'd lived in the apartment for about 11 years, leading detectives to believe that there may have been other victims during that time.
Court documents show that the charges stem from crimes against two victims, one under the age of 12 and the other under the age of 14. All of the crimes are alleged to have happened between June and early December of last year.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Hillsboro Police Records at (503) 681-6175 and request to speak with Detective Schwartz.
