PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was found shot with serious injuries in Portland's Pearl District on Thursday night, according to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB).
Portland police responded to reports of a shooting at Northwest 8th Avenue and Northwest Coach Street. When officers arrived they found a man with serious injuries, officers provided trauma first aid until paramedics arrived and he was taken to a nearby hospital.
The victim's injuries are serious but are believed to be non-life threatening, according the Portland Police Bureau.
Police say the suspect or suspects left the area before PPB arrived on scene. No arrests have been made.
The Enhanced Community Safety Team are responding to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, Northwest 8th Avenue is closed between Northwest Coach Street and Davis, according to PPB.
