GRESHAM, Ore. — Police are investigating a shooting that took the life of one person and injured two others on Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to an "unwanted person" call at Northeast Glisan near 165th Avenue just before 4 p.m. Moments later, a shooting was reported.
Two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds and a third was injured during the disturbance, Gresham police said.
One of the gunshot victims died at the hospital. They have not yet been identified.
Investigators said they are not looking for any outstanding suspects and there is no further danger to the public.
It's unclear what led to the shooting or how the injured party suffered those injuries.
Detectives believe there were multiple witnesses and are asking anyone with information to call the Gresham Police Department tip line at 503-618-2719.
The East County Major Crimes Team is investigating.
