GRESHAM, Ore. — Gresham Police Department is seeking help from the public to solve the murder of Eddie Wallace Sr. from 2017.

Police responded, on Jan. 20, 2017, to a burglary alarm along Southeast 176th Avenue. Inside, officers found Wallace dead from a gunshot wound. His teenage son, at the time, was also inside the residence and unharmed.

Through an investigation with the East Multnomah County Major Crimes Team, detectives learned multiple gunmen had forced their way into Wallace's home. Detectives interviewed witnesses, reviewed surveillance video and executed multiple search warrants to seize evidence.

Despite these efforts, no arrests have been made.

“We will never stop seeking justice for Mr. Wallace and his family,” said Detective Adam Wright.  “I believe someone in the community has information that would allow us to hold Eddie’s killers accountable.  We are asking for them to come forward now.”

Detective Wright is the lead investigator on the case. He can be reached at 503-618-2233 or adam.wright@greshamoregon.gov.
