PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in North Portland on Wednesday morning, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) reported.
The crash happened around 4:55 a.m. at the intersection of North Interstate Avenue and Russell Street. In a news release, PPB said the driver of the car didn't stay at the scene.
Southbound lanes of North Interstate Avenue are closed between Russell Street and Greeley Avenue. TriMet MAX trains in the area have also been shut down in both directions, PPB said.
