EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Court hearings have been postponed for four youths charged with arson for allegedly causing the June 29 Civic Stadium fire.

The Register-Guard reports hearings for the boys had originally been scheduled for today in Lane County Juvenile Court. A hearing for one of the boys has been moved to Sept. 22. The other three hearings have been set for Oct. 6.

Three of the suspects are 12 years old while the fourth is 10. Their names are not being released, consistent with a court order.

All four youths face several charges, including arson, burglary and criminal mischief for allegedly using a lighter to start the fire.

The massive Civic Stadium blaze destroyed the 77-year-old grandstand and ruined plans to convert the ballpark into a soccer and youth sports complex.
