OREGON CITY, Ore. — At least one suspect in a robbery in Canby was arrested in Oregon City after a short police pursuit.
The robbery took place in a Fred Meyer parking lot at 1401 Southeast 1st Avenue. The suspect's vehicle was later spotted by police near the Clackamas County Circuit Court in Oregon City.
During a brief police pursuit, one suspect got out of the car and ran. The car was stopped by police on Main Street between 8th Street and 10th Street. A K-9 officer searched a nearby building and the suspect who fled the car was apprehended.
The other occupants in the vehicle had outstanding warrants, according to Canby Police Chief Brett Smith.
