ATMs stolen from 2 Skamania County businesses

The first ATM was taken from The Skamania Lodge in late August. Earlier this month, Elk Ridge Golf Course was hit. The sheriff's office is asking for information.

Surveillance images caught the suspect entering the building early Saturday morning and removing the ATM with a hand truck.

SKAMANIA COUNTY, Wash — The Skamania County Sheriff's Office is asking the community for its help identifying the suspect, or suspects, that stole two ATMs from two local businesses. The sheriff's office believes the crimes are related.

On Aug. 30, during the late evening, surveillance footage captured the suspect taking an ATM out of The Skamania Lodge in Stevenson with a hand truck. 

This past Saturday, Elk Ridge Golf Course in Carson experienced the same incident; in the early morning hours, the suspect entered the building and removing an ATM with a hand truck.

Surveillance images provided few details of the suspect, or suspects, to the Skamania County Sheriff's Office.
