GRESHAM, Ore. — A driver has been arrested after sending three people to the hospital while racing another vehicle on Interstate 84 early Saturday morning, according to the Gresham Police Department.
Around 3:16 a.m., officers responded to a multi-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 84 at Northeast 181st Avenue, where a white Mercedes had been racing and struck a vehicle, causing it to roll.
The three people inside the rolled vehicle were injured and taken to a local hospital. Their current conditions are not known at this time, police said.
The driver of the Mercedes fled, then was later arrested at his residence.
Gresham Police stated that Petro Bosyuk has been taken to the Multnomah County Justice Center on multiple felony charges related to the crash.
