LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. — As protests over stay-home orders played out in California, Michigan and Washington, Lakeridge High School senior Claire Fennell was watching closely.
“In Oregon, we’re doing such a good job with social distancing,” Fennell said “It was worrying to see that kind of moving closer.”
Rather than sit back and watch, Fennell decided to do something. She started with an online picket sign graphic that people could add their own text and pictures.
She decided to expand her effort. Fennell turned to design website Red Bubble, where she designed a #SixFeetTogether sticker that is now being sold online.
All the money from the sale of the stickers will go to the Oregon Energy Fund. That fund is designed to help people in need pay for electricity.
