Barb Iverson of Wooden Shoe said in an email that the fields will stay closed and a decision on if and when they’ll open the fields will be re-evaluated as the season progresses. The mild spring in the Willamette Valley has the fields on schedule for peak bloom to hit near the first week of April.

The farm stand on the property will stay open for cut flower sales, but the open fields at 33814 S. Meridian Road, in Woodburn will stay closed to visitors until further notice. The company’s website will have current updates. The website also will continue to take orders for bulb and other items.

The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival has been a mid-valley staple for flower lovers and photographers for 35 years. The festival opening has been pushed back during some years for cold weather that delayed tulip bloom.

The Oregonian/OregonLive has photographed the fields for years. Enjoy the views from home in the gallery above and videos below.
