PORTLAND, Ore. — KGW, in partnership with iQ Credit Union, Fred Meyer, Ziply Fiber and local Toyota Dealers, is proud to announce the start of the KGW Great Toy Drive. An annual tradition for more than 35 years, the Toy Drive collects toys for local families in need. The event begins Monday, Nov. 6 and continues through Friday, Dec. 15.
KGW’s partners are collecting toys at more than 300 locations in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Cash and online toy donations are also accepted at KGW.com/toy. A $25 donation provides one child with a present this holiday season. All donations are appreciated and will be distributed to local families with the help of over 150 local nonprofit organizations.
Donations can be made in several ways:
- Donate funds online at KGW.com/toy.
- Donate toys at any iQ Credit Union location.
- Donate toys at local Toyota Dealerships and they’ll match a toy donation.
- Donate toys at local Fred Meyer stores.
- Ziply Fiber will give $5 per fiber installation the week of Nov. 13.

Due to the overwhelming generosity of the public and the commitments from many local area businesses to collect toys on behalf of the KGW Great Toy Drive, more children will receive toys this holiday season.
