Update: 2 arrested in Southern Oregon for deadly Salem triple shooting

SALEM, Oregon — Two men linked to a Salem shooting that left two men dead and a woman injured were arrested Tuesday near Roseburg in Southern Oregon.

Keonte Caldwell, 23, and Curtis Welch, 26, have been accused of aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called about 10:15 p.m. to the 3600 block of Joshua Avenue Northeast and found Bradley Kelley, 35, dead inside the home. Michael Buntjer, 35, was taken to the hospital but died.

An autopsy Tuesday showed they died of gunshot wounds.

Coral Olfert, 26, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The owner of the home, Roger Olfert, told KGW that a gunman had recently broken up with his daughter. This was before police revealed there were two suspects.

Police confirmed the suspects, who lived in the Salem area, knew the  victims of the shooting.

Roger Olfert said the incident began with threats and knives.

“Came over and threatened them with knives and they chased him away, and he came back with guns and shot them,” Olfert said.
