TIGARD, Ore. — Shake Shack opened its third location in Oregon on Monday morning, with the new restaurant at Bridgeport Village welcoming its first customers through the doors.
The East Coast burger chain is known for its hand-spun milkshakes with a menu that includes Angus beef burgers, chicken, crinkle-cut fries, house-made lemonades, beer, wine and more. It opened its first restaurant in New York in 2004 and now has more than 470 locations across the world.
On April 25, Shake Shack opened its first spot in Portland on West Burnside, across the street from Powell's Books. The burger chain's first location in the state opened in 2021 at Cedar Hills Crossing in Beaverton.
The restaurant at Bridgeport Village, located off I-5 in Tigard/Tualatin, is open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday. It has indoor seating and covered, heated patio seating outdoors.
Shake Shack said the first group of customers Monday would receive a custom, reusable Shake Shack cup and that it would donate $1 from every sandwich sold at the Bridgeport location on Monday to Sustainable Northwest.
Shake Shack is one of several new businesses that have opened at Bridgeport Village as part of a $35 million renovation, the company said. Other new businesses include outdoor retailer Cotopaxi, jewelry store Pandora and Japanese restaurant Tanaka. Flooring showroom Portland Floor is set to open soon.
