SEATTLE — As Washington state consumers look for deals this holiday season, a Seattle-based e-commerce site will continue to offer ways to shop women-owned businesses online and a new way to support women entrepreneurs whose families are living in war-torn Ukraine.
CEO and co-founder of The WMarketplace, Kate Isler, said the site is a great option to shop women-owned businesses and brands in Washington, the Pacific Northwest, and across the country. The site features holiday gift guides.
In addition to browsing women-owned businesses nationwide - Isler said there is also a global presence.
"WMarketplace has enhanced its e-commerce accelerator program and is hosting a sponsored program for Ukrainian women entrepreneurs to sell their products on WMarketplace this holiday season," Isler said. "In keeping with our mission to be the economic engine for women - we have been working closely with the U.S. Department of Commerce to reach out and support Ukrainian women entrepreneurs and provide them with a market to sell their products and continue to support their families, communities and country during the war."
