PORTLAND, Ore. — A penthouse at the top of the Ritz-Carlton tower is going for $7.85 million.

The 34th-floor condo is one of eight that are unfinished, and it's the largest still on the market inside, according to Terry Sprague, owner of LUXE Forbes Global Properties.

The penthouse features three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms inside about 4,000 square feet, according to the floorplan. There's room for an office, kitchen, terrace, and large living room and dining area.

"This penthouse, along with the other seven on floors 34 and 35, are being sold unfinished, with a $350-per-square-foot credit back to the new owner after closing toward their customization of the finishes in their residence to their specifications," Sprague said in an email. "This option allows maximum flexibility for a purchaser to finish their new penthouse with their preferred style and materials."

Sprague earlier noted there were upwards of 30 contracts for homes in the buildings. That was of 132 available residences. While we don't have images of the specific 34th-floor unit, we do have conceptual renderings of the inside of the building.

The Marriott website recently had guest room rates posted for the hotel rooms, with standard, non-member rates going from $575 to $1,925 depending on what kind of room one reserved. Ritz-Carlton is a Marriott International, Inc. subsidiary.

The Portland Business Journal, a news partner of KGW, has this look at what some of the pricey (the low end is around $1.3 million) residences inside the Ritz could look like.
