CLACKAMAS, Ore. — On Tuesday, indoor trampoline park chain Sky Zone announced it will open a new location in Oregon.
The chain said its new location will be at the Clackamas Town Center Mall, housed where luxury department store chain Nordstrom was before its closure in 2020.
The new park is expected to open by the end of the year, Sky Zone announced.
Nordstrom closed its Clackamas Town Center location in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, Nordstrom announced permanent closures for 16 of its 117 full-line stores. The closures did not apply to Nordstrom Rack locations and smaller boutiques.
Nordstrom's 120,000-square-foot former location in the mall has remained vacant since it was purchased by Rhino Investments Group last year.
Sky Zone will occupy the second level of the former Nordstrom location. The ground level is still available for lease, according to the Oregonian.
The new location will be the third park in Oregon for the Sky Zone chain, with parks already in Gresham and Beaverton.
Sky Zone was founded in 2004 and based out of Provo, Utah, with over 270 locations across the United States.
