VANCOUVER, Wash. — We cross the Columbia for this installment of Hottest 'Hoods, looking at real estate in Clark County, Washington, in the first quarter of 2021.
Among the four counties that make up the Portland metro area, Clark County had the second-most homes sold in the quarter with 1,932, behind Multnomah. But it had the lowest median sale price of homes, at $439,598, compared with a median price $546,132 in Clackamas County, where prices were highest.
Unlike past editions of Hottest 'Hoods, which looked across the Portland area at sale prices, time on market and sales volume, this quarter the series examines real estate activity in the individual counties. Yesterday we looked at Clackamas County, and Washington County was last week.

To rank the top ZIP codes in the Heat Index, we give equal weight to number of home sales, median price and median days on market in data provided by the RMLS.
