Honorees announced for the 2019 Oregon Ethics in Business Awards

The annual Oregon Ethics in Business Awards will honor nine local organizations the evening of May 22nd. The event is hosted by Rotary Club of Portland and presented by KGW Media Group.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The annual Oregon Ethics in Business Awards will honor nine local organizations the evening of May 22nd. Hosted by Rotary Club of Portland and presented by KGW Media Group, the Oregon Ethics in Business Awards honor organizations and individuals who have demonstrated ethical business practice in its broadest interpretation: in the workplace, the marketplace, the environment and the community. 

Awards recipients are categorized by large business, small business and nonprofits.

Oregon Ethics in Business Award Recipients include:

Large Businesses: Submarine Hospitality, Logical Position, AllMed Healthcare Management

Small Business: Nossa Familia Coffee, Intuitive Digital, Borders Perrin Norrander

Nonprofits: Store to Door, Free Geek, New Avenues for Youth

In addition to celebrating this year’s awardees and presenting scholarships to local college students, attendees will hear from Pulitzer Prize winning reporter Nigel Jaquiss who is providing the keynote.

“There are many businesses and nonprofits in Oregon and SW Washington that put business ethics as a top priority,” said Mike Rosenberg, Chairman, Oregon Ethics in Business Committee. “We are excited to hear from the 2019 recipients that have really gone above and beyond to lead our community.”

A panel of local business leaders reviewed nominations to select the Oregon Ethics in Business award recipients which included nominees from SW Washington for the first time. The awards banquet will take place May 22, 2019, at 5:30 pm at the historic Sentinel Hotel. Tickets and event sponsorships are available.
