PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Oregon International Air Show, which attracts tens of thousands of people each year with awe-inspiring aerobatics, will have a new home this year.

The show will not be at Hillsboro Airport, where the event is typically held.

"Runway construction at the Hillsboro Airport has required us to consider an alternative location to hold this year’s show," a post on the show's Facebook page says.

Instead, this year’s show will be at McMinnville Municipal Airport.

"We are thrilled to announce we have received conditional approval to hold the Air Show at the McMinnville Airport on Sept. 20-22," the Facebook post said.

This year’s show will be headlined by the Royal Air Force Red Arrows and the U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightning II Demo. More aerial performers will be announced soon.

Tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks. You can sign up for alerts to receive information and access to purchase tickets before the general public here.
