PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Mercury's Nacho Week is here and serving ooey gooey, topping rich nachos for just $8 through July 14. Over 30 restaurants are participating in this year's lineup, each featuring a special nacho not typically served on the menu.
The nacho specials this year range from classics to heavily loaded to unique with fusions inspired by pasta, wontons, Buffalo chicken wings and more.

Aji Tram Restaurant and Bar
Address: 4477 Lakeview Boulevard, Lake Oswego
Nacho special: Chicken Tinga
What's on it: Corn chips, spicy shredded chicken tinga, salsa de silva verde, queso fresco, crema and cilantro.
Boke Bowl
Address: 1028 SE Water Ave., Portland
Nacho special: Korean Beef Wonton Nachos
What's on it: Korean braised beef, crispy wonton chips, gochujang queso topped with kimchi and pickled onions. (Vegetarian options available)
Gigantic Brewing

Nacho special: Pork Poblano Green Chili Nachos
What's on it: House-made corn chips layered with pork green chili made with fire-roasted poblano, tomatillos, onion, and secret spices, topped with queso fresco, red onion, and cilantro.

What's on it: Broken meatball ragu, shredded mozzarella, broccoli rabe pesto, pickled peppers and Parmesan.
Lazy Day Brewing

- Portland: Fries are Nachos Too, includes Hand cut fries topped with Monterey Jack beer cheese featuring Lazy Days Lager, gochujang aioli, house smoked crispy pork shoulder, pickled daikon, pickled carrots, green onion and cilantro.
- Beaverton: A lil Pepp In Your Step, includes Corn tortilla chips, brick cheese, house blend of ground beef and pork, Mama Lil's peppers, jalapeno peppers, finished with house made beer cheese sauce and green onions
Due to the heat wave, Lazy Day Brewing said on Instagram that its Portland location is closed through Tuesday, but its nacho week special will be available at its Beaverton location.
"Our beautiful old building unfortunately is not equipped with central air & our smaller AC units simply cannot currently keep up with the temps we expect starting the week," Lazy Day Brewing said.
