PORTLAND, Ore. —

So many people across the world are at home right now, all day, consuming content from their couches, socially distant from other humans. There really is endless content to be watched and listened to out there, yet sometimes it can feel like you scroll forever without finding something you want.

That’s why we are here for you. And by “we,” I mean the people around the world watching and listening to everything, so the rest of us can use that data to figure out what to watch or listen to next.

This time, we’re looking at the top YouTube live channels people are watching while stuck at home. Because you can't always count on YouTube to suggest something good for you to watch next. Try picking one of these. They will fill your entire day... or days. These are LIVE channels, that just keep going... So you might as well start!

Note: We're going to skip the news live streams... because if you're on our website, hopefully you know where to find the news.

Here are the top 10 live channels on YouTube right now:

1. lofi hip hop radio - beats to relax/study to

YouTube user ChilledCow has nearly 5 million subscribers, and as I'm writing this, over 40,000 people are watching this live stream of relaxing jams.

The title sums it up pretty well. It's a constant stream of low-key music you play in the background while you get work done, do chores, whatever you're doing at home right now.

And when you need an even more relaxing playlist, ChilledCow has a beats to sleep/chill to live stream as well.

2. Crash Pad and Kingsman Umbrella Gameplay! Fortnite Battle Royale

Have you been spending your time at home playing a lot of video games? Then your next step might be watching someone else play video games.

As I'm writing this, there are nearly 20,000 people watching Typical Gamer play Fortnite Battle Royale (which is a free-to-pay video game, by the way) on YouTube right now. If this stream ends by the time you click on it, don't worry. Typical Gamer does a gaming live stream every day.

3. Southwest Florida Eagle Cam

Oh, animals. We miss you right now when we're all stuck at home (except our house pets, those animals are getting all the love right now).

Luckily, there are live streams like this to fulfill our animal cravings. This is, as the title describes, a live camera featuring a bald eagle in Southwest Florida.

Harriet is the star here, and early Tuesday morning, viewers of the live stream got to watch her hatch a new baby bird in her nest 50 feet in the air. Don't worry, you can rewind the live stream to watch the magical mother-hatchling moment. But if you keep watching, another baby bird might hatch!

4. Peppa Pig Official Episodes Live 24/7

Are your kids running out of shows to watch at home? This live stream will never run out. The official Peppa Pig YouTube channel constantly keeps this stream going with episodes for all the Peppa Pig fans out there.

5. Modern Warfare 2 Remastered

More video games! This one is from YouTuber jackfrags, who streams almost daily. He has over 3 million subscribers, and as I'm writing this, almost 12,000 people are watching this live stream.

Of course, it's called Modern Warfare, so it is definitely on the violent side, as you might have guessed.

6. PAW Patrol MIGHTY PUPS MARATHON!

So your kids are sick of the Peppa Pig live stream from above? Here's another show streaming 24 hours a day: Paw Patrol! It's a marathon, featuring inspirational rescue stories with the Mighty Pups.

7. P.E with Joe

Ready to move your body after watching live streams all day? You can do both at the same time with Joe. Every day at 9 a.m., Joe is hosting a half-hour workout from his living room.

According to the comments section, some P.E. and gym teachers have recommended Joe's videos to the kids in their classes, while schools are closed.

8. Planets that Exist Outside Earth’s Solar System

No school? No problem! You can learn all about the solar system right from your phone or computer (whichever you're reading this on).

In this stream from Space & The Universe HD, you can hear all about the discovery of alien planets in our solar system. The channel often has multiple streams going at once, so if you're more interested in another space topic, just click around.

9. Crushing Crunchy & Soft Things by Car!

And you thought you had too much time on your hands at home... Thanks to Hacks Busters, you can watch a car drive over "crunchy and soft things," and crush them. Sneakers covered in candy, rubber gloves filled with paint, and so many toys (seriously, don't show your kids. It might crush their little souls) are among the things that get crushed.

10. 100 Thieves vs. MIBR - ESL Pro League Season 11

ESL is the world's largest esports company, and each day, the channel is streaming another round of group competition for ESL Pro League Season 11. The finals were moved to a studio location, due to social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic.

See? Gamers, fitness instructors, and even the bald eagles... We're all stuck at home. And we're all in this together.
