PORTLAND, Ore. – It may not feel like it, but summer is on its way – and so is a new roller coaster at Oaks Amusement Park.

This isn’t a kiddie coaster. Oaks Amusement Park says the Adrenaline Peak Roller Coaster is “extreme” and the stats certainly back that up.

The roller coaster has a 72-foot vertical lift, reaches 45 miles per hour, and has loops, turns, rolls, and a past-vertical drop.

The roller coaster first debuts on March 24 with a special pre-launch party where, for $100, the first 100 people can try it out with unlimited rides from 10 a.m. to noon. Then, the coaster is open to all from noon to 5 p.m. with rides for $9.50 each.
