PORTLAND, Ore. — For the 17th year, Music on Main will bring free concerts for all ages to downtown Portland, starting Wednesday, July 10 and running through Sunday, Aug. 28.
The summer series will host a concert each Wednesday at 5 p.m. featuring a different band from the Portland area. The event supports "music lovers of all ages," according to a press release, and has no age restrictions for those who can attend.
The concerts are completely free. No ticket is required to enter. They'll be held on Southwest Main Street between Broadway and Park Avenue, between the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and Antoinette Hatfield Hall.

- July 10 – LaRhonda Steele Family Band
- July 17 – SOS – A Tribute to the Police
- July 24 – Garcia Birthday Band
- July 31 – Dreckig
- August 7 – Too Loose Cajun Band
- August 14 – DJ Anjali and the Incredible Kid
- August 21 – Melao de Cuba
- August 28 – Aaron Nigel Smith
Beginning at 4 p.m. on concert days, food and drinks will be available for purchase at ArtBar & Bistro, across from the concert venue.
If Portland has extreme heat like it saw this past week, the concert will move inside, into the lobby of Antoinette Hatfield Hall.
