PORTLAND, Ore. — Iconic heavy metal band Megadeth will perform at the Moda Center on July 26 as part of its upcoming tour.

Tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 at Live Nation.

Lamb of God will co-headline the tour with Megadeth. Trivium and In Flames will also perform.

Megadeth has sold more than 38 million albums worldwide, including five consecutive platinum albums, and have been nominated for 12 Grammys, including a Grammy win in 2017.

The band welcomes Dave Mustaine back to the stage after his diagnosis and recovery from throat cancer. This will be their first North American tour since 2017.

"I'm back again, better than ever and coming to a town near you with Lamb of God, Trivium and In Flames. If you want high octane metal madness this is the tour for you," Mustaine said.

Megadeth is scheduled to release its 16th studio album later this year.

Lamb of God released its first new music in five years with its single, "Checkmate," which was released last week. The band's self-titled eighth studio album drops May 8.

The tour will visit 55 cities over the summer and fall, beginning June 12 in Bristow, Virginia and ending November 13 in Reno, Nevada.
