SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon State Fair is kicking off this weekend, bringing concerts, rides and more to the fairgrounds in Salem.
The fair goes from Aug. 23 through Sept. 2 at the Oregon State Fairgrounds. The event draws thousands of visitors from all over the world to Oregon.
This year, there will be seven new rides, bringing the total of 55 rides to experience. The fair also has livestock competitions along with a rodeo and a demolition derby.
OREGON STATE FAIR CONCERT LINEUP
This year's concert series will cover a wide range of musical genres, from rock band Foreigner to country star Craig Morgan to rapper Ludacris. Huntley, who won season 24 of NBC's "The Voice," will also perform, and Jacquie Roar will be a special guest. Roar, an Oregon native, was among the top five finalists during the same season of "The Voice."

Tickets are available on the state fair's website and in person at the box office. Concert tickets include fair admission.

The fair is happening at the Oregon State Fairgrounds at 2330 17th Street Northeast.

Route 13 drops at the back entrance on Silverton Road – Yellow Entrance ADA accessible. Regional Route 10 (Woodburn, Brooks, Gervais) and Route 20 (Silverton, Mt. Angel, Woodburn) drop at the back entrance on Silverton Road – Yellow Entrance ADA accessible. Park and ride locations here.

General parking costs $5 for the blue, yellow, orange, and pink lots.
