PORTLAND, Ore. — Devon Haskins is a reporter at KGW in Portland, Oregon, specializing in general assignment reporting. He began his career in 2002 at KAYU-TV in Spokane, WA. He joined KGW in May 2011 as a photojournalist. Before that he worked for KGW's sister station, KREM-TV, in Spokane, Wash. and the NBC affiliate in Tucson, Ariz.
It was there that he met his beautiful wife Cara. They keep busy these days with their three kids.
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Devon is thrilled to be back on this side of the mountains. He grew up in a small town north of Seattle, where his love of Seattle sports grew.
Devon has worked in Spokane, Tucson and Portland in his two decades plus of shooting news video. He has covered stories ranging from wildfires and record snowfalls in Spokane, to the minuteman movement on the US/Mexican border, to the Ducks national championship game in Arlington, Texas.
He also spent three weeks in Brazil covering the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro!

When not at work, Devon can be seen rooting for the Seattle Seahawks and his adopted Portland Trail Blazers...until the Sonics come back! He loves football, golf, movies and spending all his free time with his family.
