PORTLAND, Ore. — It's the annual split week of high school football in the Portland metro area and Southwest Washington, meaning about half of the games this week were played on Thursday and the other half on Friday.

KGW had photographers on the ground at eight games on Thursday night, featuring matchups from the PIL, Mount Hood Conference, and Greater St. Helens leagues.
