WASHOUGAL, Wash. — A fire originating from a spontaneously combusting pile of sheets burned down the Riverside Laundry in Washougal early Sunday morning, according to the Clark County Fire Marshal.
Camas-Washougal Fire Department responded to the laundromat after calls of a structure fire at 12:42 a.m.
Initial crews found smoke and fire showing from the building, and a total of 11 units responded to the fire.
There were no injuries but the building and contents are considered a total loss, and damage estimates are approximately $150,000.
