Missing Gresham teen returns home safe

Lucas Cole returned home Wednesday night, according to Gresham poilce.

GRESHAM, Ore. – Police are asking for the public’s help with finding a 15-year-old boy with autism who hasn’t been seen since he left Gresham High School Monday afternoon.

Lucas Cole was supposed to walk home to the area of Northwest 4th Street and Towle Avenue but he never showed up. Gresham police say he may have been seen on the Springwater Trail Monday night.

Lucas is new to the area and is not known to use TriMet transportation, police said. He doesn’t have a cellphone or use social media

He was described as a white, 5-foot-9, 140-pound boy. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, maroon sweatpants, black shoes, and carrying a green backpack.

Anyone with information regarding Lucas’ whereabouts is asked to call police at 503-823-3333 or 911 if necessary.
