Last year, Portland Police Sgt. Paul Meyer became the first Portland police officer who uses a wheelchair to be promoted to sergeant.
On Sunday, he took part in the Portlandathon half-marathon and Meyer’s buddies on the SWAT team surprised him by joining him for the last mile of the race.
