Cooler days ahead

Mainly dry through the weekend

PORTLAND, Oregon — Welcome to Friday, and welcome back sunshine. Brief morning clouds give way to a mostly sunny Friday with highs near 68°.

Our weekend turns a little cooler, and a little cloudier, with a slight chance of showers both Saturday & Sunday- chances are higher Sunday, but either way, any rain that falls will be pretty light. High temperatures will hover in the low to mid 60s, average for this time of the month is 70°.

The Coast will see clouds and sunbreaks with a chance of showers both days

If you're headed to the high country this weekend, it will be chilly in the Cascades, with snow levels as low as 3,500' Saturday night.

Monday will be sunny and warm with highs in the lower 70s.

Clouds and the threat for showers return Tuesday through Thursday of next week.

Have a great weekend.
